The Power of MD04

MD04 is a cockpit transaction from which you can monitor and drive your entire supply chain, for example you can:

• Access the material master in display or modification mode

• or show partial information of the material master from Header Detail

• Display stocks

• Show the order report and

• Show pegged requirements

• Check capacity levels and display potential bottleneck

From MD04, you can hide (collapse) or display (expand) Header details

• Important parameters from the Material Master are shown

• Which tab pages are displayed depends on the MRP type

As a pre-requisite you also need to ensure that your work center as a factory calendar assigned:
→ It can be the standard factory calendar used for the plant or
→ a dedicated calendar that will be used only for the work center(s) to ensure the available capacity is different from the standard defined in the plant calendar.
